杨文煜（1871—1940），字光甫，又字朴斋，自号淡道人，室名“琴研山房”。浙江绍兴人，后移居扬州。稍长，画艺大进。曾任清代官员，总管江都地区安全事务。其人工诗善画，亦善昆曲，兼精医理。清末到民国间画家，初师戴公复，后无常师。善花卉，尤精于写石。所作花卉挺秀；画石皴皱斑驳，玲珑苍古，有超尘脱俗、势若凌云之态，时人推为能手。其人书法和绘画造诣以及医理造诣均极高，因此被收入《扬州历史人物辞典》。
