2 Chinese 18/19 Century Enameled Porcelain Ginger Jars or Tea Caddies: the first probably Kangxi circa 1700, enameled in Europe (clobbered ware) over the original underglaze blue decoration with exotic birds, flowers and butterflies; the second with Famille Verte enameled windows of flowers on a souffle cobalt blue ground, the base with underglaze blue double ring mark. Good condition with light age related wear to enamels and gold highlights, the Kangxi jar with 2 or 3 overlapping very small chips to mouth edge. Height of Kangxi jar 5 inches (12.7 cm.). PROVENANCE: The Property of a longtime Adirondack Chinese Art Collector.
