Three pieces of 17th century Dutch, tin glazed earthenware in blue and white. Includes: a) Toby jug seated, possibly by Adriaan van Rijsselbergh,De Grieksche A, circa 1720-1740; b) Toby jug standing monk; c) an ewer by either Anthoni Kruisweg at The Old Moor's Head, De Oude Moriaans Hooft Est. 1648, or Adrianus Knox at The Greek A, De Grieksche A circa 1686-1701Seated Toby signed AR, standing Toby VR, and ewer AK on base. All are decorated with Chinese style motifs. Dimensions are: Toby seated jug - 10 inches tall X 4 1/4 inches wide X 7 1/2 inches deep with handle; Toby jug standing - 10 1/2 inches tall X 4 1/2 inches wide X 7 3/4 inches deep with handle; ewer - 11 1/2 inches tall X 5 3/4 inches wide X 7 1/2 inches deep with handle. All measurements are approximate. Condition: Seated Toby - retains handle and decorative elements. Repaired break at rim and hairline on shoulder. Scattered rubbing at rim and handle. Standing Toby - retains handle and decorative elements. Free of breaks or repairs. Scattered frit chipping to edges, nose, fingers, and jug. Ewer - frit chipping to edge of base and rim, largest area measuring 2 1/2 inches long. Several repairs to handle.
