此瓶敞口圆唇，长直颈，扁鼓腹，圈足外撇。其胎体坚硬，胎质细腻，底施白釉，釉质莹润。布局舒朗，画工流畅灵动，青花发色纯正清雅。通体绘画四季牡丹纹饰，一只小鸟站立枝头，另一只小鸟展翅飞翔，遥想呼应，绘画生动形象，栩栩如生。花鸟纹饰遍布全身遥相呼应，构成一派生机勃勃的景象。绘工细腻，精致传神，设色淡雅明丽，器型规整，工艺复杂，刻工精湛。器形规范，造型优美，线条圆润；胎骨坚细，胎体厚重，胎釉洁白细腻；釉色纯净，釉质莹润、亮丽。具有较高的收藏价值。器形与发色之中不难看出其雄浑气象。画工咨肆多变，流丽奇掘，堪称中国陶瓷史上的独树壹帜的异彩奇葩，此瓶即为其中壹例。
