此件藏品以整块沉香木雕琢，体量适中，高约24cm，然重达454g，可沉水。可鉴材质之优良坚实，极为少见。观音头顶垂巾，丰额颐面，修眉细目，鼻梁挺直，目光俯视，面露微笑。内着裙襦，外罩长衫，衣纹垂顺自然，水袖随风飘拂。双手胸前持经卷，跣足立于仰覆式莲台之上。整器雕琢老练，人物神情逼真鲜活，衣褶刻画硬朗洒脱，力臻精妙，造型拙朴稳重，通体髹金漆，质感极强，传承供养年代久远，金彩斑驳，时代特征明显，是一件非常少见的清代沉香造像佳品，亦是自然造物灵与性的完美统一，至诚至善，自在自和。
