材质：瓷器说明：器身作八棱形，颈部绘蕉叶纹，肩部绘开光莲花纹饰，腹部梯形开光内，绘两种不同的折枝花卉纹八组，下腹部饰变形莲瓣纹一周，其间以卷草纹相隔，青花呈色翠蓝，色浓处可见黑斑，画工潇洒，颇具中国传统水墨画韵味，为元青花标准器形，此件玉壶春瓶为修补件。八棱器曾被普遍认为系仿自西亚银器，不过亦有专家表示，其产生与佛教有关。《大日经疏》说曼荼罗始转于东方，末至西北，为八方，意即佛法遍及周围各地，普渡众生。元代以藏传佛教为国教，朝廷笃信佛法，影响极大。
