提要：是书作者乃梁章矩曾孙，共录其诗作九百六十五首，皆成于“卢沟桥事变”之前。梁鸿志克绍家学，以前清举人之身，活跃于民国初年的政坛，相继出任段祺瑞政府秘书长、汪伪政权“监察院院长”等职，抗战胜利后被公审处决，其著作亦因此少存。钱钟书曾对他的诗学品格及地位给予公允评价。
此本封面刊袁思亮题签，扉页谭泽闿署题，前刊黄孝纾、何振岳、袁思亮、夏敬观、曾克端、黄浚、吴廷燮序。开本阔大，宣纸精印，原装原函，品相亦佳。
