西周 青銅帶銘文饕餮紋尊 The central bulb cast in relief with a pair of taotie masks with bulging eyes among scrollwork decorations, set between a pair of raised lines on tall flaring neck and spreading foot cast, the bronze with the patina of warm greenish brown tone, the interior of the base cast with six characters. Western Zhou Dynasty period. 《說文》：「尊，酒器也，從酋，廾以奉之。」尊是一種盛酒器，流行於商周時期，由史料文獻可知尊既是生活用具，同時也作為禮器，對於古代的社會和政治具有重要意義。此青銅尊製作精細，器表通體呈褐色，局部偶有綠綉，造型完整而典雅。侈口， 上部光素，近頸部下方有著兩條明顯的弦紋。腹部微微鼓出，弦紋之間前後兩面飾饕餮紋。 底部鑄有銘文六字，待考。青銅尊作為青銅器中的典型作品，其審美價值是無與倫比的。此件青銅饕餮纹尊造型飽滿穩定，裝飾細緻，曲線流暢，曲直相對，收張相合，使人在平和中亦能感受到線條的律動，精湛的工藝顯示其重要的藝術及收藏價值。 來源: 紐約重要私人藏家收藏
