题跋：周之冕，号少谷，吴郡人，善画花卉。王弇州论其画云：胜国以来写花草者，无如吴郡，吴郡人以自沈启南之后无如陈道复陆叔平，然道复妙而不真，叔平真而不妙，之冕似能兼撮二子之长，特以嗜酒落魄不甚为世人重耳。之冕之笔蹊径易趣，传摹颇多，转觉增厌，此卷笔精墨妙，尤为极出，系先生得意之作，得此宜当珍袭之。壬戌夏四月二十六日，朱鹤年。钤印：鹤年
