本品盖面隆起，上附扁钮。腹部浑圆，近足部内收，底足有鸡心状突起。其通体罩施青釉，色泽深沉苍翠，釉面布满细碎开片，露胎处可见灰白胎骨。整器圆润可人，后世在其基础上，以刻划技法增饰，逐步演变为经典的荷叶式盖罐。其体量小巧精致，应作为储茶之用。
