张利（b.1962），北京人，1983年毕业于解放军艺术学院美术系并留校任教，是中国写实画派成员之一，现为中国美术家协会会员，解放军艺术学院美术系教授，作品多次参加国内外大型展览被美术馆、画廊和收藏家收藏，他的肖像画有一种平静的魅力，笔触、色彩都沉着平稳，画面气氛舒淡而深远。如果要说所谓的油画民族化或者东西方文化寻找交汇点，我认为不应该从表面，而应该从艺术精神内部、从造型理法的核心部分去寻找相同的地方，我觉得这才应该是艺术探索的境界。
