白玉质地，玉质温厚。圆碾卧姿大狮，前附一小狮，大狮神态端重，，小狮形态生动，大狮和小狮嘴含仙草，扭首曲身。好似在嘻嘻。玉人采用写实手法，在着重于结构协和造型的同时，更深入于神情动静的摆措。刀法流利而精湛，极富表现力。玉狮之眉、鬣、脊及尾咸用阴补线条；额头、脊骨与掌爪皆用圆刀加强体面；鼻与身躯同以平磨对比；狮谐“师”音，“太师少师”合喻父子皆文韬武略，也称“三公”、“三孤”，谓皇帝左臂右膀。古来，传道者谓之曰“师”，授业者刚谓之曰“传”。《北堂诗抄》引许慎《五经异义》之：“天子立三公曰太师太传、太保……，又立三少以别之副，曰少狮、少傅、少保为之弧。”来源：佳士得香港2018.11.28 Lot 3016
