A LARGE CHINESE FAMILLE VERTE ENAMELLED PORCELAIN JARDINIERE AND PLATTER, LATE 20TH CENTURY, of tapering bulbous form and a flaring rim with a diapered banded border enclosing reserves of ribbon tied auspicious objects, above sides centering a continuous narrative with deities riding above stylized waves, towards a long robed nobleman standing with his raised fly whisk before various figures in a walled garden beneath the branches of an ancient pine, between a polychrome painted ruyi banded collar and a base rim of continuous vertical paneled decoration height: 13.75", diameter: 19.00"; together with a matching platter diameter: 19.00". Condition: Overall good condition for porcelain wares of this age, origin and use including but not limited to; some water calcification residue, areas of flaking, discolorations, expected marks and small scratches as well as surface buildup throughout. No discernible chips cracks or repairs.
