黄葆戉 长乐县青山村人。字蔼农，号邻谷，小名破钵，别号青山农。青年就读于全闽师范学堂，后入上海法政学堂。毕业后，醉心书法、碑帖、篆刻、绘画等艺术，云游名山大川。民国成立后，回到福州，历任福建省图书馆馆长、福建甲种商业学校教员、监学等职。著有《青山农篆书百家姓》、《青山农分书千家文》、《青山农书画集》、《暖日庐摹印集》、《青山农一知录》、《蔗香馆诗稿》等。
