敞口、鼓腹双肩承如意耳圈足内有阴刻“大清雍正年制”六字三行篆书款。窑变釉是雍正时期仿宋钧窑所繁衍出来的一个新品种采用两次或者多次上釉的方法造成所施的釉料中含有铜、铁、钴等多种微量元素在高温中这些微量元素自然结合因而使釉面呈现出不同的色调花纹斑点。该牛头尊器形硕大发色纯正红蓝相间发出宝石一样的光彩实乃窑变釉中的精品。
