此龙舟取材于李白“长风破浪会有时，直挂云帆济沧海”诗句，以整块上等冰种翡翠琢就，色泽娇妍剔透，秀逸华滋，冰绿两色相映成趣，时而飘逸萧散，时而凝郁积蕴，令人纵情于斯，流连不止。色彩分配宛若天成，桅杆处翠色娇妍欲滴，更觉秀逸深蕴、清雅可玩，刀法细劲遒婉，不见刻露之痕，匠心独运，浑然天成，极富文人情致，令人赏心悦目，赞叹不已。翡翠原产于缅甸，于明清之际引入，其硬度达摩氏7度上下，故施技亦非易事。
