A Burmese ruby and diamond hinged bangle. The alternating graduated vari-cut ruby and old-cut diamond line, with diamond point double spacers, to the grooved sides. With report 78165-89, dated 20th June 2018, from GCS, stating rubies are Myanmar (Burma) origin, no heat. Estimated total diamond weight 1.85cts, I-K colour, SI1-P1 clarity. Inner diameter 5.4cms. Weight 26.3gms. With Tessier case. Overall condition good. Surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.Some claws worn to the settings.Cut and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents total carat weight estimation.Please see report for full details of the rubies.Rubies slightly pinkish red, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.Rubies in good condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.Electronically tests approximately 14ct gold.Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals.
