A selection of early to mid 20th century gold and platinum owl jewellery. To include a pave-set diamond and red gem stickpin, an enamel and blister pearl brooch depicting two owls on a bar, a bi-colour red gem brooch depicting five graduated owls, together with eleven further similarly-designed brooches. Nine stamped 9ct. Two stamped 15ct Plat. Lengths of brooches 3.8 to 6cms. Length of stickpin head 1.4cms. Total weight 47.9gms. Overall condition good to fair. Some surface scratches and slight discolouration in keeping with general age and wear.One brooch slightly out of shape.Glue can be seen to one brooch. Some possible gem replacements. Diamonds well matched.Diamonds fairly bright.Estimated total diamond weight under 0.10ct.Cut and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents total carat weight, colour or clarity estimation.Diamonds have few, small inclusions. two chipped.Emeralds in good condition with some abrasion.Eighteen red gems in good condition. One chipped.Split pearls well matched in good condition.Nine stamped 9ct. Two stamped 15ct PLAT. One with safety chain.
