A pair of early 20th century platinum and 18ct gold diamond earrings. Each designed as an old-cut diamond, with scalloped surround, suspended from a similarly-set circular-cut diamond surmount. Estimated total diamond weight 1.90cts, principal diamonds estimated H-I colour, P1-P2 clarity. French assay marks. Length 1.9cms. Total weight 5.1gms. Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.Evidence of possible alterations to the reverse. May be adapted from a larger item of jewellery. Diamonds well matched.Possible replacement stones. Diamonds bright.Principal diamonds with eye-visible feather inclusions. One with surface reaching feather to one side. Non-principal diamonds with some minor inclusions under 10x magnification.With fixed post fittings and hinged fastenings for pierced ears.
