A late Victorian silver and gold, diamond and enamel brooch. Designed as a pave-set diamond pheasant, with polychrome enamel head. Length 3.9cms. Weight 5.4gms. With fitted Goldsmiths & Silversmiths case. Overall condition good. Some surface scratches, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.Replacement clasp.Diamonds comprise rose and circular-cut diamonds. Circular-cut diamonds appear bright and well matched. Rose-cut diamonds appear fairly well matched.Estimated total circular-cut diamond weight 0.25ct.Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.Slight enamel loss to the top of the head, not immediately visible when worn.Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
