定窯刻菊瓣紋碗 Raised by a short ring foot, the exterior covered in smooth creamy white glaze. The interior carved with a medallion decoration with a lotus design on the center. 定窯為宋代五大名窯之一，以出產白瓷著稱，是五大名窯之中燒造時間最早、歷時最悠久的窯口，亦是唯一以紋飾見長者，所出精於刻劃，善長模印，素有定州花瓷的美稱，產品曾入貢內廷，為後世所重。此件器物口沿鑲金，盤壁微呈弧形，端莊大氣，通體施象牙白釉，清新雅緻。盤心刻肆意盛放的菊瓣，葉片舒展，表現出旺盛的生命力，刻劃線條俐落，流暢如畫，為定窯劃花工藝的傑出代表。
