LOT NOTES
USSR Builds Socialism, published in 1933, reports on the accomplishments of heavy industries and agriculture following the first Five-Year Plan (1928-1932). The following edition is one of the first collaborations between El Lissitzky and IZOGIZ (other well-known works include: Industriya Sotsializma (1935) and Raboche-Krestyanskaya Krasnaya Armiya (1934)). The book comprises a great number of photographs, many previously published in the early issues of SSSR na stroike.
