LOT NOTES
Inspired by the works of Salvador Dali, Paul Delvaux and other surrealist masters, Miami-based contemporary artist Michel BoutboulÕs works derive from the unconscious mind and realistic representations of esoteric hallucinations. Female nudes are the main figures of MichelÕs art, playing the role of muses and erotically spiritual guides.
Born in France in 1951 as the eighth child of sixteen children, Michel departed Europe and lives and works in the United States. His transformative and spiritual works have been successfully shown in the exhibitions throughout the world, including France, Belgium, Russia, New York and Miami.
