|对瓶运用套料技法制成，通体涅白地上套，温润莹白，抚之似玉，通体套宝石红料刻夔龙纹，运刀硬朗遒劲，纹饰舒展流畅，圆转流丽。器底刻“乾隆年制”楷书款，纵观此对瓶之品格气质，皆为乾隆盛世所独具。|对于清盛世套料工艺之精湛，晚清学者赵之谦在光绪六年（1880年）撰写的《勇庐闲诘》中如此评述：“套者，白受彩也，先为之质曰地，则玻璃砗磲珍珠，其后尚明玻璃，微白，色若凝脂，套之色有红有蓝，雕镂精绝。”今观此对瓶，可知前贤之高见不虚。
