款识：大清乾隆年制 |明清两朝瓷窑，品种丰富，异彩纷呈，主要可分青花、彩瓷和单色釉等三大类。单色釉以其素雅沉静的美学追求而为世人称誉，其中明永乐宣德红釉器质量最佳，名重一时，釉色鲜艳夺目，犹如红宝石，备受世珍，其中佳器往往被清代康雍干三朝所仿烧。如这对红釉碗，敞口，深弧腹，圈足，内壁施白釉，釉色微微泛青，外壁施红釉，釉面肥厚均匀，平滑腴润。书写工整，发色鲜亮。且流传有序，为乾隆本朝精品。
