|说明：长寿是中国吉祥文化中的永恒话题之一，故寿字常常成为人们祈祷延年益寿的载体，据档案记载，每年为庆祝皇帝或者皇太后的生日，清宫造办处都要制作数量庞大的寓意长寿吉祥的活计，最有特色的当属当属康熙朝瓷器上所采用的万寿、百寿装饰，时至乾隆一朝，祝寿类作品有过之而无不及，本品毛笔便为之一。|笔管木胎，通体黑漆地暗刻百寿纹，并填以金彩，象牙笔斗，亦饰篆书寿字三周，以红彩填饰，紫毫饱满圆健。故宫博物院藏清宫旧藏有数件以百寿为题材的毛笔，可做参照。||参阅：《故宫博物院藏文物珍品大系——文房四宝·笔墨》，上海科学技术出版社，商务印书馆（香港）有限公司，2009年，页155、158、160、175，图135、138、140、155。
