|赏析：象以硕大碧玉料为材圆雕制成，色呈青绿，包浆温润。瑞象姿态敦实稳重，气势恢弘，象背浑圆，四足直立，低首直视，嘴际长牙向前拢合，并将长鼻卷曲于一侧。大耳如莲叶下垂，浮筋毕露，额前、臀部及腿足饰有层层流线肌理，表现皮肤天然褶皱，予人庞然大物的视觉观感，透露出贵重典雅、肃穆庄严神气之态。|象力大魁威，令百兽畏惧，却同时性灵柔顺，与人为善，自古即被人奉为瑞兽。大象蕴含“太平有象”的吉祥寓意，意谓着天下得治、和平久安。此件碧玉象与常见玲珑小巧的玉雕动物有所不同，其形体硕大，造型古拙，端庄厚重，当为清代宫廷陈设器物，以彰显威仪|注：剑桥大学费兹威廉博物馆藏、英国阿什莫林博物馆均藏有同类玉象，可供参考。
