|说明：相传布袋僧是五代明州奉化人。笑口常开，蹙额大腹，经常佯狂疯颠，出语不定，就地而卧，随遇而安。他给人欢喜快活、逍遥自在、大肚能容的深刻印象。手持禅杖，肩荷布袋，所有供身资具通通放在囊袋中。此件布袋和尚圆脸阔腹，双耳垂大，满脸堆笑，袒胸露肚，右手执一长杖背一布袋，布袋内可放熏香，烟气可从肩部弥漫，身上开有小孔，利于弥散，其形象和善喜庆，颇为难得。
