款识：西凤 |说明：潘西凤（1736-1795），字桐冈，号老桐，别号天姥山樵。浙江新昌人，居扬州。识见卓越，布衣终生。曾为年羹尧幕客。善音乐，精刻竹。笔筒取近根处竹干随形雕成，成书卷状，琥珀色泽，以骨作底。整器雕松树纹，书卷转折处雕刻松树主干，松树气韵清秀，枝干若虬龙般刚健有力而不失秀美，观者赏心悦目尽其雅致，刀法技艺精湛，布局精妙，上下皆为紫檀镶口，底部承接三矮足，左下角落款“西凤”。
