|此炉造型古朴，样式特别，目前仅见此一只，或为古代贵族私人定制品，其高度贴近青铜的式样及纹饰具有“博古图”之感，幽静雅致。10厘米高的形制大小适中，尤其适合摆放在案台上作琴炉或文人炉。炉唇口，双朝冠耳，鬲式，三足连裆，足微微外撇，与其圆滚的式样极为相称。皮色醇厚，为深栗色，且干净，无烧染痕迹，为自然包浆。内壁打磨光滑，外壁为青铜纹饰，短颈部饰一圈“卍”字几何纹，腹部连着三足突出，饰出戟象首纹，且以回字纹为地，纹饰古色古香，十分特别，其连裆的三足状与宋代龙泉窑香炉更为近似，我们所见的明清文人炉大多鬲式不配朝冠耳，但本品为鬲式、连裆、配朝冠耳，可能如此样式只有本品一例，值得研究。铜质地优良，细密软熟，应当视为明或更早之物。
