|「丁方」|1956年出生于陕西。中国人民大学艺术学院执行院长，中国美协油画艺委会会员，中国油画学会理事。1978年考入南京艺术学院工艺美术系，1982年毕业获文学学士学位，1983年攻读该院美术系油画专业研究生，导师为刘海粟、苏天赐。1986年毕业获文学硕士学位，1986-1988年在南京艺术学院美术系任教1988-1990年 被聘任为《中国美术报》编辑1999年被聘为南京大学雕塑艺术研究所教授 2000-2010年任南京大学美术研究院教授，油画教研室主任；南京艺术学院客座教授；南京博物院特聘画家。2011年任中国人民大学艺术学院教授，博士生导师。2005年负责国家课题《佛教艺术图像学研究》。
