青白玉材圓雕而成，局部有皮色，形象渾圓飽滿，呈臥姿，配木座。獸首寬大微昂，雙眼立體凸起，直視前方，兩道粗眉內陰刻細線，如意大鼻下接寬嘴張口露齒，面容威猛。頂上雙耳雕琢細膩有層次，中間一獨角向後延伸貼背，背脊浮雕節節紋飾。三足捲於身下，左前腿輕舉貼於胸，刻畫相當細緻，腿部肌肉線條、毛髮、獸掌皆琢刻的絲絲入扣，形象逼真具動態感。尾巴開岔曲卷附於後背，上以長陰線細刻紋理。全器雕刻大刀闊斧，細節處理一絲不苟，時代風格鮮明，頗具靈氣。參閱:北京古天一，2016/6/5，Lot1102，明代玉瑞獸，高5公分，估價120,000-150,000。
