|提要：此经取《维摩经·佛国品》卷首五十二菩萨名号辑刻成卷，五十二尊菩萨名分二十六行刻成，每行二尊，每尊冠以端坐法像，神态各异，随文排列。卷前刻维摩诘坐像，坐像身侧各饰花卉一枝，上端两侧分别刻“志心供养”、“金粟如来”字样，“金粟如来”即过去佛之名，维摩诘居士前生。|卷首刊刻扉画的传统古已有之，传世实物最早见唐咸通九年刻金刚经扉画、杭州雷峰塔内五代刻宝箧印陀罗尼经卷首扉画、北宋元丰三年刻本妙法莲华经扉画等，均有精美版画附在经卷之前。
