题识：武塘盛懋制。|钤印：子昭（朱文）|题跋：吾乡盛子昭亦称翘楚，而不少亚于四大家。此帧悉宋李晞谷笔法而设色，又师赵魏公树色苍劲，全用焦墨而置深远，驴马生动，人物酷肖大有意景。近代盛称子昭为能品其许之者几至柳，就其画之精妙乎，是人之所不能者，而子昭独能之，今所不能妙者何过大与，而古人作山水以自娱，多用茂密法盖精如此，以寄其重叠峻秀，孤高绝俗之意耳。己巳秋九月中浣，钱塘倪谦并识于湖滨草堂。
