题识：雪溪高隐。怀民周仁写。|钤印：芦塘居士（朱文）怀民书画（朱文） |周怀民（1907～1996），名仁，以字行，号芦塘居士、二泉山人，江苏无锡人。早岁学土木建筑。1926年始在北京中国画学研究会习山水，师从吴镜汀。曾任京华美专和北平艺专教授。擅山水，传统功力深厚。以善画“芦荡”、“葡萄”着称，有“周芦荡”、“周葡萄”的美誉。曾为中国美协会员、北京画院专业画家，一级美术师。
