款识：“大清嘉庆年制”六字三行篆书款 |来源：厦门文物商店旧藏||烛台亦称蜡阡，流行于乾隆朝，为清代宫廷五供之一。其使用源于印度佛前献灯明之举，既是寺内照明之用具，也是佛供案上的一种供器。佛教认为，在佛塔、佛像、经卷前燃灯，能护大功德；又因灯明可破暗为明，故佛教也将灯明比喻佛法与智慧，喻以智慧照破愚痴。佛教发展至清代，五供的制作出现了多种质地和式样，丰富了五供的种类。该烛台盘口，觚形腹，覆碗式底座，庄重大方。台面外壁饰双层莲瓣，与烛相配，仿佛一枝荷花灯。台座及器腹以松石绿釉为地，粉彩绘缠枝莲纹。充满喜庆吉祥气氛。
