A Sapphire, Tsavorite Garnet and Diamond Novelty Brooch, by Gemolithos


Designed as a butterfly, the body set with a cushion-shaped sapphire, weighing 4.06 carats, highlighted by a cluster and rows of brilliant-cut diamonds extending to the sprung antennae, alternating with smaller circular-cut sapphires, the eyes set with similarly cut tsavorite garnets, the engraved wings highlighted with rows of circular-cut sapphires, diamonds approximately 2.00 carats total, remaining sapphires approximately 23.30 carats total, signed Gemolithos, length 6.5cm
