In the Style of Sha Fu (1831-1906), Lady Writing at a Garden Window, China, ca. 1900, hanging scroll, ink and light colors on paper. Poetic inscription by the artist with signature: "Sha Fu". One seal of the artist: "Sha Fu". Sha Fu was a painter of figures and flowers from Suzhou. He especially excelled in painting beautiful ladies and children. At the end of the 19th century he was, together with Ren Xun (1835-1893), one of the leading masters in Suzhou.
