The leather bag is of oblong form with a hanging loop, crafted from three different colours of leather. The three manuscript sections are written on paper of various lengths and covered with a silk wrapper. The table-top prayer wheel is carved as a shrine with the spinning prayer wheel set inside. The exterior is decorated in polychrome pigments. Provenance: Jan Brummelhuis collection, Amsterdam. Condition: The leather bag: Appears to be in generally good condition, with wear and stains from use. Dimensions: 22 cm. long, 6 cm. wide The manuscript sections: The paper is delicate with stains, tears and losses to the edges. The silk wrapping with fading and light stains. Dimensions: the longest, 29.5 cm. long. The prayer wheel: There are various age-related cracks to the wood, and various areas of repairs including to the corners of the roofs, the interior base of the shrine, and the walls of the shrine.
