|说明：中国使用车马可追溯到四千年以前的尧舜时期，根据《史记·夏本纪》中的记载，大禹受舜帝之命治水时，便有“陆行乘车，水行乘舟，泥行乘橇，山行乘辇”的记录，而从殷墟出土的甲骨文中则有表明，最迟到了商代中期，古人所使用的车马便已经相当完备了。||此拍品即为古代战车上的一个部件，呈筒形，一端封顶，中空可供插入，应属辕首饰一类。表面镌有纹饰，顶端环绕四枚勾玉形纹，器体两面均表现饕餮兽面纹的形象，这种古代青铜器上常见的纹样显得面目狰狞、凶悍无比，具有驱灾辟邪的效果，而据传说，饕餮是当年蚩尤被讨伐后由其面目变化而成的，故而此器又被冠以蚩龙之名。||参考：赏赐车马示意图，《古器散论》P188
