|说明：寿山石大多产于月洋山顶峰，开采于明末清初，以其“似玉而非玉”且易于受刀的特征，备受文人雅士宠爱。故清代郭柏苍《闽产录异》称：“芙蓉石似白玉而纯粹，玉不受刀，逊于芙蓉矣。”陈亮伯在《说印》中更说：马之心人鹿者，贵也，真鹿则不贵矣，印石之似玉者，佳也。真玉则不佳矣。“此件寿山石观音像，刀法娴熟流畅，工艺精雕细琢，发髻高耸，头披风巾，眉如弯月，双目细长下视，面目清秀，慈祥端庄，左手执莲，以教化众生，普渡信徒，庄严中不失灵动。配以芙蓉底座，精雕莲花海浪，体现巧色雕刻之绝妙。石质润泽，包浆浑厚。可谓风格独具。供之望而乐禅，驱烦去忧，案中佳伴也。
