镌刻：“微妙玄通”落“竹居”（白）、“鹿觡象鼻，虎状龙颜”、“香风时来”落“沅”（白）、“妙不可尽之于言”落“周氏”“竹谷”（白） |说明：此器取天然根材，略施雕琢，内壁镶铜，外壁瘿结累累，纹理蜿蜒，曲折有致，富有层次。置于书房，意趣自然。|其上镌刻的文字皆 是对此件作品的描述。瓶身大小错落有致的孔，散发精微奥妙的气息。器物偏大，造型遒劲古朴，自然天成。木纹看似错乱无序，实则经过了匠人雕刻布局的构思，大小保留上不影响花瓶整体雅致外形，木纹紧密曲折，这些都反映了雕工饰物于无形的高超工艺水平，实在妙不可言。
