|此长方几，束腰，通体木胎剔红，朱漆层肥厚，色鲜亮红。几面作方形开光，满雕山水人物，树木苍翠，仙鹤翱翔，亭台楼宇林立其间，其中人物姿态各异，极为精妙。束腰及腿部花卉纹满饰，重叠雕刻，排布紧凑，纹饰密而不乱，极见功力。整器保留了明式家具的样式和格调，漆面清亮，剔工精致繁密，但又主题鲜明，体现了清中期高超的雕漆工艺。|据黄成《髹饰录》记载，剔红出现于唐朝“剔红，即雕红漆也。髹层之厚薄，朱色之明暗，碉楼之精粗，亦甚有巧拙。唐制多印版刻平锦朱色，雕法古拙可赏，附有陷地黄锦者”。其法常以木灰、金属为胎，在胎骨上层层髹红漆，少则八九十层，多则一二百层，至相当的厚度，待半干时描上画稿，然后再雕刻花纹。此方几以花卉、山水、人物为主要题材纹样，喜庆和祥，凝润艳美，包浆浓厚。
