The ewer is moulded with a central peach-shaped panel enclosing a lotus flower, all reserved on a ground of chrysanthemum blooms between a lappet band at the foot and a petal band at the waisted neck, both decorated with enamels and flower sprays. The elegant spout and handle are decorated with further flower sprays. The teardrop-shaped cover is moulded with ribs and decorated with leaves.Condition: Some restorations, including to the finial, the handle, and the spout, and the edge of the cover has been touched up.The cover is detached.There is wear to the enamels and gilding and a few small chips to the extremities.Origin: ChinaPeriod: Kangxi period (1662-1722)Sizes: 30.50 cm.
