掌握乾坤-鸿禧美术馆旧藏烟壶呈四方形，平沿小口长颈，折肩，腹部下收。以白玉为材，莹润雪白，润泽无暇。壶四边平面上均棱起刻有凸面，填满壶的四个面，并作装饰。烟壶两侧凸面上凸雕兽耳衔环铺首一对。前后两面依照壶身走向饰开光，一侧内四方开光内雕“时时报喜”四字篆书，另一侧浮雕装饰喜鹊展翅于双慈菇之上，洋溢着欢乐吉祥、时时报喜的寓意。表现手法于清代玉佩如出一辙。整器造型规整，给人以厚重之感。刀工利落，构图简明，为收藏之选。该类以铺首作为烟壶装饰的手法，在清代蔚为流行，如中国国家博物馆藏玉质“行有恒堂”款鼻烟壶，与此相类。
