|提要 笔筒以紫檀选制而成，平唇直身，微束腰，下嵌平底。|紫檀系我国清代宫廷家具主要用材。在明代，作为宫廷家具的黄花梨用材渐趋枯竭，在清代随着沿海关口的开禁，紫檀随之在广东沿海入关进入中原，紫檀进入宫廷视野，又因质地坚实，木性稳定，木色深沉凝重，深受清代早中期宫廷上层社会青睐，成为宫廷家具的主要材料。又因价格趋高，宫廷所用紫檀也本着物尽其才的宗旨得以充分利用。此件笔筒选材纯正考究，用料大器，旋制工整，通体牛毛纹纤若可见，十分美观，足见清代宫廷家具物尽其用、制器精益求精的用材和加工标准。通体虽光素无饰，但仍不失清代宫廷整饬精工大度的制器风格特点。其品相完美，且包浆含蓄，堪称殿堂书斋上乘清玩。
