钤印：大自在、云颿、廷璧 释文：品自端方，性自坚定。发言则雨露风霆，退处则安逸贞静。所谓渊嘿而雷声，吾当于是乎益信。道光庚寅中秋前二日，云帆廷璧铭。
赏析：砚为端石，长方，开门字池，墨堂平整，上端留黄色石皮，浅雕牡丹花，有掩映之势，砚池内雕刻明月半轮，有花好月圆之意。石色灰紫，石质细腻，包浆自然。配红木砚盒。
李廷璧［清］，号筠轩，清朝官员，本籍中国云南。于道光十五年接替李慎彝，担任台湾府淡水抚民同知。专司负责北台湾内政，实为北台湾的统治者。
