|本器小口外卷，微呈盘口状，溜肩鼓腹，腹下渐收至底，为宋代梅瓶典型样式。通体施黑釉，釉水干燥之后，自肩部至足胫剔刻弦纹8周，露出素胎，上部弦纹间剔刻花卉纹轮廓线，以剔刻的条纹为地子，如窑烧造之后，受刀出露出褐色胎土，而花、叶为黑色，釉面具有玻璃质感，光亮耀目。整器黑白相间，格外醒目，其叶舒展壮，花瓣饱满，刻工豪迈，用极尽简约的线条勾勒出瓣与枝叶，给人以明快爽朗之感，体现了北方窑系明快大气的装饰风格。
