Description

|印度帕拉时期那烂陀或库基哈尔||无量寿佛，亦称阿弥陀佛，是西方极乐世界的教主，与观音菩萨、大势至菩萨合称"西方三圣"。此像发髻呈扁平状，巍峨高耸，面庞丰圆，双目深邃，口鼻突出，具有南亚人形貌特征。周身光素无纹，极为简约，双手结禅定印，全跏趺端坐覆莲座之上，身侧有两位站立的胁侍菩萨。主尊身后置繁复的背光，顶端有三层宝盖，两侧饰飞天，头光为椭圆形。下承高台座，叠涩层次分明。整像具有浓郁的东北印度帕拉风格，尤其头光装饰，面部特征以及台座样式都极为典型，虽略有磨损，但不伤全局，整体做工秉承了帕拉的精细和写实，是一尊帕拉王朝早期的精品造像。
