|藏东||宗喀巴大师（1357-1419）自幼聪慧非凡，在学问修持等方面都具有极高成就，为藏传佛教格鲁派的创始人，亦被藏族僧俗尊称为“第二佛陀”。此幅唐卡中，大师头戴黄色桃形尖帽，面容清秀，表情慈悲。上身内着僧坎，外穿华丽袈裟。双手于胸前结说法印，两肩上饰有宝剑和经书。下身着宽松僧裙，跏趺坐于莲花座上，下承双狮台座。台座两侧，大师两位弟子：贾曹杰和克珠杰安坐于软垫之上。画面上方从左到右依次绘制：无量寿佛、释迦牟尼佛、金刚萨埵、无量寿佛和观音菩萨，其下白度母和绿度母端坐。画面最下方为格鲁派重要护法神，从左至右依次为阎魔敌、六臂大黑天和吉祥天母。整幅唐卡以青绿山水为背景，展现出浓郁的自然意趣，设色鲜艳亮丽，但背景又以柔和色彩填充，人物勾勒繁复精细，线条流畅自然，体现出藏东勉萨风格唐卡的艺术特色。
